About Our Client

Automatic Heating is a family-owned manufacturing organisation, who will be celebrating their 100th year anniversary in 2026. Consisting of approximately 60 employee, Automatic Heating specialise in the engineering, manufacturing, and on-going maintenance of state-of-the-art water-based heating solutions for commercial clients across Australia. This position will be permanent, fulltime and is located at their Epping manufacturing site.

Job Description

Your role and responsibility will include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee entire business finance operations and processes for the VIC and NSW business units.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the owners, leading to influence business growth and development.
  • Team leadership of 3 across finance and an IT professional.
  • Prepare and present financial reports + outcomes to business owners in weekly and monthly leadership meetings.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, GM, financial consultants, and others to implement strategic projects.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including taxation and payroll.
  • Partner closely with all other departments on all financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager will be able to demonstrate:

  • CA/CPA qualification preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role in the manufacturing/construction industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software, particularly Epicor.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
