Our client provides justice, reintegration and support services to help people engage positively with community.The team prides itself on its commitment to creating a positive impact in society and is seeking like-minded professionals to join its ranks.Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities of this role are:Develop and maintain human resource systems accurately to record staffs personal documentation.Maintain accurate data sheets of recruitment trends and support with best practice for recruitment projects.Support people and culture admin representative with recruitment tasks at times when peak recruitment or operational needs require.Support induction training's and coordination when necessary.Ensure all compliance requirements are met for new and existing staff.Provide appropriate and timely HR support to Managers and staff on a range of HR topics and functions, including recruitment, probation, contracts and increments.Compile statistical reports for managers as required.Support the coordination of end-to-end recruitment to deliver a high-quality service, including preparation of advertising materials, processing applications, coordinating interviews, reference checks and pre-employment checks and coordinating on boarding and induction activities.Work closely with the Manager, People and Culture to review and develop appropriate procedures, identifying areas for improvement to provide excellent service.Provide support to management on a range of ad hoc projects as required.Promote and ensure a safe working environment by actively assessing risks, removing hazards and reporting incidents.Completing additional duties and tasks as directed.Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate should have:1 years' experience in HR generalist environment.Ability to deliver exemplary customer service and take a proactive approach to problem solving, with a genuine desire to deliver an exceptional recruitment experience.Experience in implementing human resource related processes and providing advice and information on a range of human resource related topics.High level communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage, listen and negotiate with people at all levels within organisationsAbility to work as part of a team as well as taking own initiative.Sound organisational skills to be able to work independently, manage a range of processes and own workload whilst working to meet competing team priorities and deadlines.Australian Drivers Licence and valid working rights.What's on OfferWhats on offer for you?Not-for-profit salary packaging benefits , including the Entertainment Card (which reduce your taxable income).Professional Development opportunities to support your career growth.Health and well being support including Employee Assistance Program.Superannuation contributions and benefits.Flexible working options.If you're keen to make a real difference and would like to be part of a dedicated team in the Not For Profit sector, then this could be the role for you.
