Join a fast-growing Geelong-based manufacturer as a Purchasing Officer supporting production and business operations. You'll manage end-to-end purchasing, supplier onboarding, and PO activities using ERP systems. This role suits someone confident with data, stakeholder engagement, and sourcing. Job Description



  • Manage end-to-end RFQs and procurement packages


  • Supplier selection, onboarding, and performance monitoring


  • Raise, manage, and track purchase orders in ERP


  • Analyse requirements against stock metrics to make buying decisions


  • Maintain ERP master data and purchase order records


  • Coordinate deliveries and align procurement with business needs


  • Collaborate with internal teams including Production, Finance, and Projects


  • Support agile procurement projects under $250,000


  • Create value stream maps for system and process development


  • Uphold quality, safety, and governance standards


  • Report and act on hazards or quality issues
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and audit frameworks

The Successful Applicant

You'll have 2-3 years' experience in a purchasing role within manufacturing or supply chain environments, with exposure to ERP/MRP systems, ideally SAP. You're analytical, organised, and confident working with data, drawings, and multiple stakeholders. Your communication skills are excellent, and you're capable of influencing suppliers and internal teams to meet goals. A tertiary qualification in logistics, procurement, or similar is expected.

Australian Citizenship is required for this role.
