Job Description

  • Managing procurement projects within the ICT Professional Services category
  • Developing and implementing category strategies
  • Explore opportunities with suppliers to introduce Gen AI
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure best value
  • Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth implementation of projects
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Delivering best value of cost and delivery for the business

The Successful Applicant

A successful Category Manager should have:

  • A proactive approach to supplier engagement and understanding your market
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent understanding of procurement processes and strategies
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively
  • Be inquisitive for the use of Gen AI in your services that your procure
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
